Aside from the confidence that comes from knowing who we purchased the pipe from and the undeniable shape and style, we don't know much about this Real Briar NTK brand other than it definitely came from Denmark. This stylish, straight and tapered billiard estate pipe has a sweet-spot sized chamber that is just big enough to handle an English but not so large as to dismiss the use of Virginia. The draft is drilled at the end of a long mortise so the draw is smooth and open and there is just a slight taper in the chamber that reaches down to a draft all the way at the bottom. There are some fills and flaws in the finish and the rim has suffered some darkening from use, but this comfortable clencher will do especially well with flake, coin, and broad cut leaf roughed up and in larger pieces.
