Finished smooth with a light stain to capture the tonal beauty inherent to the ironwood, this Jan Pietenpauw handmade billiard estate pipe from South Africa is completely UNSMOKED. Capped with nickel and fitted with an acrylic stem of military mount design, this colorful and vividly striking smoker will smoke just as well as briar, and while ironwood can't boast the grain quality of its medium cousin, this specimen is gorgeous. Narrow in the thick walled chamber and drilled with a cylinder to keep the draw consistent from start to finish, we highly recommend this sturdy smoker for a favorite straight Virginia or Virginia based blend.
