Details
Tom used to make so many of these practical little English inspired smokers. For those of you into Danish pipes, you may notice the similarity of the crisp hexagonal shank with some of Stanwell's offerings. That's because Tom designed those pipes for Stanwell. Here's your shot an an original.
This short little apple is festooned with rich tongues of flame grain, perfect for an active smoker or someone who likes to clench. Made in the days when Tom was perfecting his golden contrast finish, this one has a slim brass band separating the smooth and curvy bowl from a meticulously tapered shank that runs seamlessly onto the black ebonite stem. This pipe is poised to be the understated, but technically marvelous jewel of your collection. A bit of very mild chamber and button wear, but this pipe is ready for years and years of faithful service.
