A smooth finish of deep and dark burgundy graces the long shanked canadian estate pipe from Nicolai in Denmark. The very short and tapered stem tricks the eye into seeing more wood in the shank than is actually there, but a feast for the eyes all the same. Drilled with an open draft and a good size chamber behind thick walls, this lightweight and oval shanked clencher is an excellent choice for folded flakes and roughed up pressed tobacco. In excellent condition with a few minor flaws in the finish, this Danish smoker has a thin bite for long sessions of clenching comfort.
