Having mastered the technique from his mentor and famous Danish master pipemaker, Tom Eltang, this Bay estate pipe, from Mike Sebastian Bay, has a gorgeous carved finish from a hybrid of techniques to bring out the dramatic textured results. Trimmed along the top of the bowl, end of the shank, and the bevel into the deep and slightly conical chamber with a ring of smooth, polished briar, this Danish handmade is further enhanced with plateaux along both the rim and shank's facing. Deep and narrow enough to enjoy a straight Virginia, this cherrywood sitter is in excellent condition and will do extremely well with any ribbon or fine cut blend.
