Details
Glorious designed to both new and yet still familiar, this asymmetrical and tilted handmade volcano from New York pipemaker, Joseph Skoda is completely UNSMOKED and has a paneled seam that wraps all the way around the stummel. The tilt from the shank's ferrule and around the volcano bowl helps capture the orientation of radial grain in this specific block. Custom shaped to show off as much of the inherent beauty as possible, Joe went even further to provide two inserts of a stabilized material with a matching tones to the contrasted grain. Like most of Joe's pipes, the shape is singularly unique and well composed with the added benefit of being meticulously drilled to be a phenomenal smoker and not just a pretty briar. Note that this American handmade comes with its original sleeve.
