Details
Sandblasted and in a technique common for its day in production pipemaking, rusticated along the long and oval shank, this Orlik Edina estate pipe has has an interesting finish. Our first guess was that bleaching from sun exposure was responsible for the dual tones seen on the stummel, but it may just have been over buffed several times in its life. The cylindrical chamber is easily wide enough to competently house an English or broad cut leaf while the draft hole connects at the bottom with an excellent, smooth draw. There is some darkening across the back of the rim, but this large bowled canadian is still in great shape and promises a wealth of satisfaction with each smoke.
