Made before the 1960s, this Pre-Transition Barling EL billiard estate pipe in a Fossil sandblast finish has had its stem replaced. Billiard shape fans will note the near perfect lines of the shank and tapered stem and pipe enthusiasts everywhere can't help but be giddy looking at the growth rings revealed in the finish. We don't know who did the stem replacement but we do know it was done a while ago and it was done well, with an open draw and a perfectly flush fit. An icon of pipe smoking's golden age, this English classic will never go out of style and with this pipe's dimensions, there isn't a favorite tobacco anywhere that won't benefit from its smooth draw and excellent condition.
