Made in Denmark with a classic billiard bowl and a round, steeply tapered shank and stem, this Jørgensen Gold estate pipe is finished smooth in a high-contrast display of cross-grain and birdseye. There are some patches of darkening across the beveled and broad rim and the chamber of this Danish sitter is both deep and wide enough to support the enjoyment of a complex flavored English or Balkan blend. There are also a few minor handling marks but this lightweight clencher is well drilled, in outstanding condition, and draws exceptionally smooth and open.
