Details
Double bore, or twin bore, is referencing the two drafts that extend from the face of the button where the smoke enter into the mouth into a single draft just over an inch or so from the bite of the stem. Its purpose is to give clenchers a much more durable grip between the teeth that is far less likely to eventually punch a hole into the mouthpiece. This English-made Orlik estate pipe is otherwise a classic billiard with a moderately thick wall and cylindrical chamber wide enough to get all the flavors from a broad cut or complex blend. There are a few minor fills in the finish as well as some wear around the outer rim, but this straight and tapered smoker draws quite well and is in outstanding condition.
