Paying tribute to the 19th century playwright and author Honore de Balzac, this Butz-Choquin Churchwarden estate pipe is a Francophile's dream. The shape motif is almost as old as the literary figure, early examples often sporting stems made with hollow bones mounted with brass and horn. Fortunately for the modern smoker, BC left the dead animals out of this one. A gorgeous cherry red in color, the ample sized bowl, and long stem are perfect for late night reading sessions. The condition of this pipe is just about mint. Has it been smoked? We couldn't decide, so we're erring on the side of caution and giving you the pre-smoked price.
