Quite a handful, this large and smooth finished, straight saddled, and plateau topped freehand Special Collection estate pipe is from Ben Wade and carries a massive bowl and chamber. The bowl is wrapped in straight grain running up all sides to the natural plateau rim where there is some darkening and there is a single flaw in the finish just at the back of the bowl right next to the shank on the right side. The chamber itself is both conical and deep and the draft hole is parked all the way at the very bottom. The draw is excellent with a smooth, open feel perfect for managing the capacious chamber and there are a few minor handling marks about the stummel. Otherwise this large and Danish freehand is in outstanding condition though will definitely require at least one hand while being smoked.
