GBD Giant (Post-Cadogan) Bent Rusticated Egg Estate Pipe with Nickel Repair Band
Item # EE267519$65.00
Details
Deeply bent, this Oom Paul styled egg estate pipe is stamped as a GBD Giant and certainly has plenty of briar contained in its thick walled stummel. Made after the merger with the Cadogan Group, this post-cad GBD doesn't carry a brass rhondelle, rather a printed version that has been stamped and painted into the stem. The cylindrical chamber is very deep and just wide enough to be a great place for complex blends of choice. Drilled at the mortise much like a Peterson System Standard, this deeply bent and long session smoker has some minor rim darkening and a nickel repair band obviously used to stabilize a crack in the shank's face.
