We don't really know who made this plateau rimmed and panel bowled billiard estate pipe, other than it was done in England and it is stamped as Straight Grain. We do know that the briar is oriented to the shape, though there is a large and intentional fill on the left bottom side of the bowl. The large chamber is easily big enough to keep a broad cut leaf simmering away for a long session and the draw here is smooth. The wide rim has been carved and semi-polished to resemble plateau and this handful of smoker from England is still in excellent condition.
