Savinelli has made the Nonpareil line of briar pipes, fitted with buffalo horn, for many years until they started using acrylic that mimics the look without any of the cracking and shape shifting nature of the original material. This 9904 estate pipe features the acrylic which means that the snug fit of the stem will likely never be compromised, no matter how many times it is taken apart. Beautifully grained with a noticeably lighter and natural shade around the top of the bowl, this broad rimmed smoker from Italy does have some darkening but the birdseye present is still mesmerizing to gaze upon. The wide at the top chamber is conical making this smooth drawing smoker from Italy an excellent choice for both straight burleys and a favorite aromatic.
