Dramatically capped with the stylized and sculpted silver, this homage to the popular parlor game, Backgammon, from Italian maker, L'Anatra is a striking concert of texture, finish, and material. With the silver duck's head proudly looking back at the button and a sport carved touch of rustication, this silver trimmed and handmade sitter estate pipe is in excellent condition. Stamped along the silver cap's edge is Backgammon, the Chinese Hanzi for Backgammon, and Tric Trac which is the much older French version the modern game is based on. Stemmed with acrylic that will never oxidize and blessed with angel hair dense straight grain perfectly oriented to the bowl, this masterpiece of smoking implement is a perfect companion for the marriage of luck and skill.
