This Castello Old Antiquari is stamped with a G grade and even with just a glance at the spectacular sandblast finish, it is clear why. Every millimeter of the stummel, with the exception of the smooth shank face and the stamping strip along the underside of the shank, is superbly detailed with the distinct growth rings only found in this method of finish and medium. The curves of the bent shank and the sculpted saddle of the stem highlight the Italian style that makes this large bowled smoker recognizable from all the way across the room. In near pristine condition, and to be completely honest there was some debate about whether this magnificent Italian poker had even been smoked, this thick walled smoker has a wide chamber for broad cuts and complex blends.
