Details
Honey and auburn tones saturate the contrasted and smooth finish of this gigantically bowled Bari Wiking estate pipe. The chamber itself is over an inch in diameter and is twice that in depth making a monstrous vessel for large embers that may take several hours to burn through at a slow pace. The ebonite stem is a classic red, cumberland bridle and the resulting draw from the superb drilling is nother short of sublime. There are some noticeable fills in the finish, both big and small, and the stamping is well worn. We also found charring in the chamber when it was scraped back down to the wood, so a sodium silicate coating has been added to ensure this mammoth armchair companion continues to impress for generations or regular use.
