Commissioned for the Capital Area Pipe Smokers, based in and around Washington DC, this Peterson billiard estate pipe was the club's 2002 Pipe of the Year. Tall in the bowl and stemmed with an ebonite mouthpiece and a military mount, this sterling silver adorned smoker can easily be taken apart even while the pipe is still hot. The very deep chamber is mostly cylindrical and offers long sessions with a consistent draw from start to finish. In excellent condition with just a very minor toothmark along the top of the crisp button, this Irish-made briar pays homage to the functional sensibilities of the American pipe smoker.
