Handmade and overwhelmingly Danish, we don't know much about the maker of this fine and wide, oval shank billiard sitter estate pipe aside from the hand carved signature on the pipe, "S Hansen." We have enjoyed a lot of conjecture about other famous Hansen carvers from Denmark, but this tightly grained and completely UNSMOKED briar is a bit of a mystery to us. As much as we'd like to go to the Danish Realm and investigate, we are confident it is handmade and will make an exceptional smoker. Densely grained and carrying a thick walled and narrow chamber perfect for almost any blend or cut, this saddled smoker is right on the cusp of session long clenching, though some may find it a tad to hefty.
