Details
Marvelously long and featuring a majestic oval shank that bares a remarkably well done taper, this large Scottie estate pipe from Kansas City carver, Scottie Piersel is trimmed with her signature use of ivorite and a bit of limited edition brindle stem. The vivid color finish is like a weathered variation of vermillion that catches the color differently in direct lighting but still matches the tones in the color heavy brindle. A cylindrically drilled chamber is deep and easily wide enough to handle any broad leaf blend, especially a favorite tongue friendly tobacco. Wonderfully smooth in the draw, any blend will do well here, though building a large ember is always part of the smoking experience. This pipe is in excellent condition with just a whisper of inner rim darkening.
