From back in the transition period, this Ye Olde Wood EXEL Barling estate pipe is just shy of six inches. The large bowl and chasm chamber features a deep dimension and a slight taper to the bottom. Plenty large enough to host a favorite English, Balkan, or Lakeland blend, this deceptively simple saddled billiard has a flattened bite on the stem making clenching comfortable for any experience level and the smooth draw, though not as wide open as today's handmade standard, is perfect for slow pacing and sipping of stronger blends. There is some inner rim darkening along the bevel into the chamber, but this English classic is still in outstanding condition.
