Details
Made before the passing of Ashton founder and master pipemaker, Bill Taylor, this Oldchurch poker cherrywood estate pipe is adorned with a silver shank cap and a military mount ebonite brindle stem. There is some darkening along the rounded rim and the top of the bowl, and with continued use the british tan hues will continue to darken like baked honey, but this large and palm friendly smoker with a smooth bottom is in outstanding condition. The wide cylindrical chamber is insulated behind thick walls and is deep enough to provide plenty of room for a favorite English or Balkan, though we are quick to also recommend a folded flake or stuffed coin. Note that this pipe comes with its original leather sleeve.
