Deeply blasted to show off both the heavy growth rings and the straight grain oriented to the large bowl, this under bent and handmade author from Canadian pipemaker, Evan Wiseman, has a strong and thick shank. The large bowl holds a wide chamber perfect for enjoying a favorite complex blend or broad cut of leaf. The stem's insert is a piece of vintage bakelite, humanity's first synthetic material, seen here in a marbled green. The under bent profile gives plenty of sight line to keep from charring the rim when lighting and the bend is just enough to offset the weight of this sturdy author.
