Sandblasted but so well oriented to the shape, the straight grain on this American handmade from Joe Hinkle reaches from the bottom of the volcano shaped bowl and arcs forward to the front of the rim that on close inspection it appears as if there is much more curve along the front wall. Joe has embellished the base with a ridge slightly extending beyond the shank's transition and finished the pipe in all black paired with a limited edition ebonite stem with a dominant blue tone. Stylish and masculine, this attractive smoker has a narrow chamber of considerable depth, perfect for sweeter blends, straight Virginias, and anything in a fine or heavily rubbed cut.
