Sturdy and immensely thick walled, this American handmade from Drew Dunn has a tight and crisp sandblast that reveals both a cascade of growth rings and densely packed straight grain. The smooth and flattened bottom is awash with the resulting birdseye and a patch of plateau oriented to the center, as if the pipe outgrew itself. The whiptail stem is made from a resin that will never oxidize and is softer than acrylic for a comfortable clench and the stummel is trimmed with a finished shank cap of horn. Impressively constructed with a fantastic draw, this palm friendly smoker guarantees a cool touch no matter which favorite blend is enjoyed.
