Densely grained and finished smooth in Dunhill's famous Root Briar series, this K estate pipe from England carries a double date stamp for both 1965 and another for 1966, likely when the factory gold band was added. Unfortunately the original stem didn't survive the restoration so our workshop fitted with a brand new ebonite mouthpiece, complete with the white dot. The finish has darkened slightly over its more than half century life, but this gold trimmed English smoker is in excellent condition with a Virginia friendly bowl and a superb, open draw.
