Handmade in England, this James Upshall displays a breathtaking and dense pattern of straight grain wrapped all the way around the very large bowl. The plateau topped rim has been left unfinished and there is some darkening around the inner rim. The original stem suffered a dangerous toothmark on the underside and although still completely functional, the guys in the workshop have supplied an additional one with a smoother draw to make sure this gorgeous English handmade smokes as well as possible.
