Alluringly unique, this freehand urn from American pipe maker, Bill Walther, is a striking and gloriously functional bent handmade. The urn bowl is mostly sandblasted straight grain with cascading growth rings rippling down the sides eight panels of smooth dark cherry protruding as easy purchase for fingers wrapped around to hold the pipe, either with the left or right hand. The shank and bevel inside the plateaued rim are also smooth and the large handful of sitting briar features a radiator saddle to help balance the large stummel. Wide and deep in the cylindrical chamber, this massive handful of smoking implement has all the things you want in a pipe but never knew you needed.
