Made for the 2015 Pipe Smoking Championship in Frederikshavn, this slow-smoking contest estate pipe from Savinelli has a wide and engraved brass band and has a tenon that was drilled open to receive a 6mm filter. The rusticated finish is consistent though there is some darkening across the rounded rim of this plump, apple shaped bowl. Otherwise in outstanding condition, this wide chambered smoker from Italy has plenty of room for a complex or broad leaf blend without requiring hours to smoke from top to bottom.
