The pictures just don't do this dark and sandblasted Peterson Spigot estate pipe justice. Though the finish is dark, there is a good deal of dark red visible in the pipe that isn't reflected here. The nickel spigot is a military mount fitting that can easily be removed safely, even while the pipe is in use, to ensure there are never any maintenance issues. In excellent condition, this Irish-made clencher does have a thick and insulating wall around the conical chamber with plenty of room to enjoy a broad leaf of English or Balkan variety.
