Details
Made in the famous Copenhagen pipe shop, this Pipe-Dan bent freehand estate pipe is attributed to the artist, Carlom, though we don't know much about him. The conical chamber is housed in a thick wall with a rim of carved briar to imitate the plateau from the outer burl. The grain is interesting, not for its consistency, but for a wild and radial pattern that displays some very tightly knitted birdseye. Perfect for sweeter blends that don't need a large ember, like Virginias or a Danish aromatic, this handmade from Denmark does have some minor inner rim darkening and a flaw in its finish.
