Details
Quite sizeable with a very large handful of bowl, this interesting and unique James Upshall estate pipe features the fine grain reserved for their P, or walnut, finish. Both sides of the bowl feature a prominent ridge carved into the shape, like a hybrid between the old fashioned cup and saucer and a straight baby walrus. Whatever the shaping impetus there is a fine symmetry in the design which makes a great seat for thumbs and forefingers with both the left and right hand. In excellent condition with a well drilled draft and impressively smooth draw, this English handmade is highly recommended for larger cut leaf and tongue friendly favorites.
