Beautifully grained and finished smooth this GBD Collector Virgin estate pipe is trimmed with an original silver band and fitted with the clear Perspex stem popular in the 1960s from the English maker. In excellent condition, this premium, smooth finish highlights the natural contrast of the finely packed straight grain rising up the large bowl with a steep and rounded beveled rim. The large chamber is slightly conical but so wide that it won't make much difference and should keep a slow paced puffer easily satisfied for hours at a time. There is a whisper of inner rim darkening just before the chamber, but this gloriously shaped and finished English smoker draws well and is remarkably clean.
