Nicely grained with a radial pattern that starts at the heel and travels up the wide and plump apple bowl as well as down the shank, this Design Berlin Gotha estate pipe from Germany is further enhanced with a band of sterling silver and an offset acrylic stem. The unusual saddle design helps elongate the feel while the massive walls help insulate the ember for a smooth smoker that will be easy to burn to the bottom. In outstanding condition with some inner rim darkening and a few minor handling marks, this German briar can accommodate a 6mm filter, draws like a dream, and longs for any favorite large cut or tongue friendly, complex tobacco blend. Note that this pipe comes with its original sleeve.
