The sandblast finish on this black morta handmade from our Artist in Residence, Jesse Jones, is particularly deep, generating the distinct and uber detailed geometry only found in this medium and finishing technique. Stemmed with nautical blue ebonite which is also used as spacers between the transitions to the dark bamboo shank, this straight apple of bog oak has been adorned with two buttons of juma, each permanently affixed by mechanical means to the nodules left in the two bamboo knuckles. Just wide enough in the chamber to make all the nuanced flavors of the most complex blends shine through, this dark and detailed smoker draws exactly like every handmade should - perfectly.
