The first pipe I ever saw made by Jesse Jones was a small group 2 Dublin with a white stem and a thin Blood Wood insert. It was love at first sight. There is a long story about how that pipe escaped my clutches - suffice to say, it is being well cared for. This blonde bombshell, with long stockings and a high large chest, is much larger and according to Jesse, much better crafted, but the aesthetic is the same. Classic lines and proportions that are the stuff of Jesse's dreams frame a detailed blast and a crisp, thick sliver of Blood Wood, which will change from a deep red to an almost bronze depending on how the light hits it. The buttery colored stem finishes what the smooth, rounded rim starts - elegant, wordly, and appropriate for any occasion. This is decadence for the smoker who is proud of his hobby and doesn't mind showing off a bit.
