A single bead graces the bowl of this squat rhodesian estate pipe from Stanwell's 2007 Pipe of the Year design. The wide, oval shank carries a silver plaquette on top to celebrate the pipemaker's milestone. There is some darkening on the smooth rim as well as some wear, but this straight and acrylic stemmed sandblast smoker from Denmark has a nice blast finish and an impeccable draw. The chamber itself is conical and not so wide and deep as to give up much more than an hour to smoke from top to bottom. Complete with its original sleeve, we recommend this lightweight clencher with a favorite aromatic or burley based blend.
