Charatan Selected Dublin Estate Pipe with Replacement Tenon

Gorgeously grained and finished smooth  in a natural contrast, this beautiful English-made Charatan Selected estate pipe from the Lane Era has the double comfort saddled stem and a large, thick walled bowl with a massive chamber.  The original integral tenon has been replaced, by choice or necessity we don't know, with a delrin insert that is perfectly snug allowing a finely tuned and smooth draw through the round shanked pipe.  There is some inner rim darkening and the stem's logo is well worn though this comfortable clencher is still in outstanding condition, a destined favorite smoker, and a marvelous display of briar's inherent beauty.
