Stanwell's DM stamping indicates pipes that were made specifically for the Danish Pipe Smoking Championships in Denmark. They represent some of the finest finishes done in distinct sandblasts and are typically very dark with some deep reds peeking out. This thick walled and saddled billiard from 2002 has a slim brass band as a shank face. There was some significant charring in the chamber around the draft hole so we have added a sodium silicate bowl coat to ensure this Danish champion can continue to be smoked regularly. Otherwise in outstanding condition with some very minor inner rim darkening, this beautifully blasted billiard comes with its original box and sleeve.
