Slightly bent and noticeably Italian with a strong chin under the front of the bowl, this Savinelli Giubileo D'Oro estate pipe is King Sized in scale and there is no missing the wide gold band around the shank. Saddled to keep the weight to a minimum, this saddled Italian smoker is in outstanding condition with some modest inner rim darkening and a few places where something acidic was dropped on the finish, likely coffee. Those two patches of discoloration can be seen at the bottom of the bowl on the right side and again just above the shape code stamping. They are almost imperceptible but they are there. Otherwise, this clenchable pot from Savinelli's high grade line is a tan beauty with a wide chamber and plenty of room for English and Balkan blends of choice.
