Scaled up to King Size, this handful of Italian briar is a Savinelli Punto Oro bent and sandblasted volcano estate pipe with a lovely taper from bowl to button and an oval shank with a sharp seam on each side. There was some debate about whether it had ever been smoked, but our best guess is it was only smoked once and is in pristine condition, including its original sleeve. The slightly conical chamber hides behind a thick wall that gets thicker the longer the pipe is in use, with a well placed draft at the very bottom, though there is no accommodation for a filter.
