Details
Unapologetically wide, this smooth saucer from American carver, Joseph Skoda, is an impressive specimen of briar tricked out for a stunning profile of material and finish. Radiating grain rises from the articulated transition at the bottom of the bowl for a beautifully broad rim of naturally contrasted birdseye, easily mesmerizing even casual viewers. The ferrule is a light wood's burl for a vivid contrast against the ebonite spacers. The stem has been trimmed with silver featuring wide flares to echo and balance the shank's extension. Stemmed with acrylic for a heavy dose of color, this warm toned estate pipe is completely UNSMOKED and the sweet-spot sized chamber will do well with any genre, though practically impossible to smoke hot enough to burn the fingers while being held.
