House of Fischer was an American pipe shop in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY and sold their own briars until they closed their doors in 1978, making this standing poker estate pipe at least a half century old. Deeply sandblasted with a ring revealing finish and a smooth bottom, this oval shanked and saddled smoker features a wide and deep chamber with a slight cone to the bottom. In outstanding condition with a touch of inner rim darkening, this smooth drawing and American briar is particularly suited for broad leaf and those complex latakia and oriental laden blends.
