W.Ø. Larsen Super 49 Walrus Estate Pipe

Finished smooth and densely grained, this Danish shaped walrus estate pipe was born in the W.Ø. Larsen workshop, and while we can't confirm exactly who made the pipe, it represents the creative and craftsmanship that put Danish pipes into the spotlight for the next half a century, and counting.  Given a tall bowl with a wonderfully deep chamber, this bent and tapered smoker has two fins to sit upon, either with the bowl resting on the flat surface, or with the stem's button secure while the bowl faces upward.  In excellent condition, though we did find some charring inside the deep chamber about half way down so a sodium silicate coating has been added to ensure this somewhat rare specimen survives for many generations to enjoy in its future.  Note that this handmade from Denmark does come with its original sleeve.
