Thompson Sandblast Pot Estate Pipe

We've had a debate about the origins of this pipe and can't reach a consensus.  It may be an older German production with a modern delrin tenon and replaced acrylic stem or it may very well be an American carver experimenting with finish and construction.  It may even have been produced in England for a retailer in the United States.  Whatever its provenance, this Thompson pot estate pipe has a nice, wide chamber behind sturdy thick walls finished in a thumbprint and ring revealing, tight sandblast.  The burnished edged rim has been finished smooth and the whole pipe is in excellent condition with an open draw.  Light enough to keep clenched and wide enough to make flavorful smoke from any favorite broad cut or latakia laden blend, though any aged burley will do well here too.
