The Guildhall London Pipe (Comoy's) 127 Billiard Estate Pipe

At over six and a quarter inches in length, this large chambered 127 billiard estate pipe is one of the largest Guildhall London Pipes we've ever restored.  Size aside, the shaping, as is often the case in these Comoy's factory made smokers, this big billiard is superbly shaped in the English tradition and features a wide, deep chamber with a subtle conical taper to the bottom.  There is some darkening around the rim and there are some minor handling marks though the finish appears to be free of any fills.  Densely cross-grained with a marvelous grouping of tight birdseye, this lovely billiard is likely to heavy to clench but at a slow pace can provide hours of smoking satisfaction.
