The Guildhall London Pipe 93 (Comoy's) Billiard Sitter Estate Pipe with Replacement Stem

This Guildhall estate pipe was made at the Comoy's factory in London and at some point in its decades long history has had its stem replaced with the lengthy one seen here.  The work was very well done and the flush fit and draw speak for themselves.  Given a contrast smooth finish with a bit of exaggerated forward cant to the bowl, this lightweight and lengthy English smoker is a sitter and still keeps the classic clean lines of a comfortable clencher.  There is some modest darkening around the rim, though this elegant briar is in excellent condition with a conical chamber met at the very bottom by the very smooth draft promising a consistent satisfying smoke every time.
