Stanwell 1988 Pipe of the Year Sandblast Apple Sitter Estate Pipe with BRB Replacement Stem

Featured as Stanwell's Pipe of the Year shape back in 1988, this straight and oval shanked saddled apple is dressed up in a ring revealing sandblast and is commemorated with a silver plaquette.  The original stem is still present and included with the pipe, but there is a significant toothmark on top of the bite that has a small crack on the top of the thin wall that resulted from numerous trips to the buffing wheel.  Both stems fit flush and we dare say, out new stem (pictured here) will smoke just as well, if not a bit better than the original.  Lightweight with a comfortable clench and wide enough in the chamber to host a broad cut or complex blend of choice, this Danish briar has a smooth finished rim with some inner rim darkening.
