Scottie Piersel has become an internationally known pipemaker by developing her own style and shaping voice, especially with her very popular clay briars that feature long, reinforced shanks in classic bowl shapes.  But having been a professional carver for over a decade, her ability to create the more traditional is still present in her current repertoire like this contrast blast prince estate pipe.  In excellent condition, this thick walled and canted bowl is a display of sandblasted growth rings, straight grain, and inherent beauty in the briar made more dramatic by the two toned finish.  Stemmed with a limited edition ebonite brindle with a wide fishtail bite, this comfortable and gorgeous American handmade draws like a dream and is just the right size for enjoying English, Balkans, and any tongue friendly, broad leaf blend one hour at a time.
